- How to use the Glycemic Index and Glycemic Load info so that carbs stay healthy – it’s easy to make mistakes without this info as a starting point
- Test, Don’t Guess
- Some kinds of carbs and portions less likely to lead to blood sugar spikes
Action Steps:
- Download and read the combined Glycemic Index (GI) and Glycemic Load information to increase awareness of blood sugar impact of foods eaten.
- Choose 2 healthy foods you want to focus on including in your meals. Select foods that are below 50 on both the Glycemic Index and the Glycemic Load values.
