  • Hear Kay’s story, her food habits and what made a positive difference for her blood sugar issues
  • Increase awareness of which foods you eat that are high in carbohydrates/carbs
  • Begin using the Glycemic Index (GI) as a starting guide for food choices

Action Steps:

  • Download and read the Glycemic Index (GI) List to increase awareness of blood sugar impact of foods eaten.
  • Write down what you ate today.
  • Look up the foods you ate today, and what their GI values are.  
  • Share in the private Facebook Group which foods you were surprised to discover had a GI value higher than 50.  Awareness counts!
